Victory for the NEW SAT® Test, Essential Skills, and Practice book

Based on the Department of Education’s recommended approach for maximum score increases, Cambridge’s Victory for the NEW SAT Test Program comprises three-volumes: Victory for the NEW SAT Test, Essentials Skills for the NEW SAT Test, and a book of practice tests.

The Victory for the NEW SAT student edition is designed to:

· address all the changes related to the new online section adaptive SAT Test,

· provide a thorough review of the two content sections of the new test – the combined reading/writing and the math sections,

The companion volume, Essential Skills for the NEW SAT Test, includes review and practice of the most essential SAT skills. Review exercises are based on three score ranges of the College Readiness Standards™, spanning everything from foundational high school readiness to the topmost range of college ready skills, all encountered on the SAT test. The practice test book contains three additional full-length practice tests and additional subject quizzes.

Cambridge’s Victory for the NEW SAT Test teacher’s guide systematically presents core content and skills, test-taking strategies, and explanations to all classroom text exercises, quizzes, and tests. The content outline helps instructors guide students through well-defined content review. The student text material is included in the teacher’s guide for a more user-friendly teaching experience. The Essential Skills teacher’s guide helps teachers to easily differentiate instruction in the classroom based on student needs and provide the needed practice to fill skill gaps, master SAT skills, and increase SAT scores.

Each online lesson is followed by a practice opportunity that provides immediate feedback. PrepCast for the SAT® Test

PrepCast for the SAT® Test is a comprehensive video course that brings some of the world’s best teachers directly to your students. It can be blended with in-class instruction or used as a self-study program. The course, which has over 60 hours of prep, includes:

·         Additional lesson topics and items for an in-class teacher to cover

·         12 quizzes

·         4 full-length practice tests

·         Essential Skills supplemental material for bonus skills review (print or online)

Students receive a course workbook to follow along with the videos and can complete the quizzes and tests either in their workbooks or in an interactive online environment. SAT Score Booster

The Score Booster for the SAT® Test is an interactive database developed to build skills, improve test-taking techniques, and boost test scores. The Score Booster (up to 12 hours) provides students with two comprehensive tests for a testing experience that reflects the actual test. Included explanations help students identify wrong answer choice patterns and review troublesome question types. Additional skill-building questions in Writing and Language and Math are sorted by difficulty, allowing students to answer easier questions before moving on to those that are more difficult.

AccelePrep for the NEW PSAT®

Cambridge’s AccelePrep for the NEW PSAT Test is designed for those that want to learn how to best prepare for the changes found in the new online section adaptive PSAT test. This effective resource systematically addresses the two content sections of the test (combined reading/writing and math sections) in terms of design, adaptivity, timing, newly written passage types and question stems, and calculator based multiple-choice and student-produced response items.

eCelePrep for the SAT and PSAT/NMSQT® Tests

Cambridge’s eCelePrep for the SAT® and PSAT/NMSQT® Tests is a comprehensive online course that provides up to 30 hours of rigorous curricula in an interactive and self-guided format.  This web course is available on all devices, including computers, tablets, and smartphones so students have access wherever the internet is available.  eCelePrep contains pre- and post-tests and lesson units that help students understand and leverage the PSAT/SAT’s test-mechanics, master tested concepts, and develop game plans to answer even the toughest questions. Students also have access to graded practice quizzes and timed mini tests.  Although no teacher involvement is necessary, teachers can track student progress, time on task, individual results, and scoring.
